About the MAIN project
In the MAIN community, post, share your opinion or your own work and get feedback from people with similar interests. At MAIN, you don't need to have many followers to be heard. If people like your post, it will automatically go to the hot feed, where thousands of users will see it.

By rating posts, you help to rank your content feed and influence how MAIN looks like. Positive ratings (ups) increase the post's rating and raise it in the Hot and Best feeds. The higher the post in the feed, the more users see it. The user's fame shows how much a given user has made to the MAIN community, and represents the approximate number of positive ratings for posts and comments that a user has received on the platform over time. When a user's post or comment gets up, the user earns some fame. You can see the glory of any user on their profile page.
How do you earn fame?
The best way to earn fame - to publish posts that other people find interesting and engaging, and to leave valuable comments on other posts. Be original and funny, try to write on the topic, add important thoughts, engage in discussions with other users - all these are great ways to earn a lot of fame from comments.
For 1 up of your post you will receive 1 fame point, and for 1 up of a comment - 0.5 points, but fame will still not equal the number of ratings 1 to 1. In fact, your fame will always be lower than the number of ratings. This is due to internal algorithms that protect users from cheating and manipulation of ratings, and can reduce the weight of suspicious or massive ratings. MAIN tokens are internal units of value, issued on the Ethereum blockchain. Tokens can be spent on rewards for interesting posts, supporting your favorite boards, creating new boards or showing promo posts.
