What is Orderbook?

Orderbook – a cryptocurrency trading platform, that supports ICO tokens, based on the Ethereum network. The exchange was launched in August 2017 by the Ambisafe startup team. The platform is based on a smart contract and designed to provide safe and transparent trading.

Brief information about the dapp platform

Orderbook platform is based on the idea of a smart contract. This means that the entire trading history is accessible to all comers and can’t be changed. All assets are stored in personal wallets and customers trade directly with each other. Therefore, the platform doesn’t have an access to funds. Developers don’t provide White Paper and Road Map. You can find out information about updates and much more through social networks: twitter, telegram and facebook. There is also a YouTube channel, where the exchange manual is presented.

Orderbook - a decentralized platform, that offers its customers three main functions:

Cryptocurrency exchange Users can exchange some ERC20 tokens for others directly on the Ethereum network.
ICO platform ICO projects can offer their tokens to customers with the Orderbook.
Token-enabled multi-currency wallet Asset storage is implemented in a blockchain wallet and allows you to store any ERC20 token, which support is announced on the site.

The project allows you to trade on the Ethereum blockchain with the next assets:

  • Token-as-a-Service (TAAS);
  • Gnosis (GNO);
  • Aragon (ANT);
  • FirstBlood (1ST);
  • Hacken (HKN);
  • BitBoost Token (BBT);
  • Worldcore (WRC);
  • MicroMoney (AMM);
  • Orocrypt Token (OROC);
  • SwissBorg (CHSB);
  • GloboX (GLBX);
  • BenjaCoin (BENJA).

The time, required to transfer the currency to the wallet, usually depends on the country and method of payment. If you send a bank transfer in US dollars, the account will be replenished within 2-7 working days. But sometimes it may take up to 10 working days. The time, required to receive cryptocurrency payments, depends on the network confirmation time.

Why you should use the Orderbook project?

Currently, at least $50,000 is usually required to purchase shares in leading private companies. You can buy them for only $100 with Orderbook. Using the blockchain, developers allow traders to buy, sell and trade tokens with the click of a button.

Advantages:

  • simple and intuitive interface;
  • reliable security features;
  • all traded assets are supported in the “on-chain” mode for transparency.

Disadvantages:

  • not as famous as other exchanges;
  • compared with others, a smaller selection of coins and tokens;
  • there is no application for trading on mobile devices;
  • additional risks, associated with participation in the ICO.

Replenishing an account using US dollars, the next restrictions apply. The minimum deposit amount - $20 and the maximum deposit amount - $10,000.

Is it safe to use the blockchain platform?

The platform is implemented as a smart contract. It means that all trading history is available for audit to all comers and can’t be a subject to change. The assets, that you hold on the platform, are managed by a user contract. And access to the contract is controlled by three secret keys.

At least two of these keys are required to complete transactions. So if one of the key holders is hacked, the fraudster won’t be able to get to your assets.Orderbook

Orderbook also supports two-factor authentication and KYC. You must provide your name, address, contact information and proof of an identity to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
