Protonauts — a fully networked NFT experiment that tests interoperability and on-chain persistence. The goal - to provide value to users through mechanisms other than scarcity, lower the entry barrier to mass adoption in the long term and provide users with something that will be functional and fun to use as long as blockchains exist.

The developers of Protonauts have focused on the players and how the character can develop and progress between the new interoperable spaces. The team wanted to move away from static profile images and provide users with a dynamic and ready-to-use web-hosted sprite that can be modified cheaply while maintaining the security of Ethereum’s first layer.
NFTs allow you to demonstrate ownership of a particular digital asset that other developers in the same ecosystem can respect in any other way (e.g. Airdrops, whitelisting, etc.) within or for their products. In games, this was done to display images, avatars or profile pictures with a quick press of the connect button..
Users will mint a new token and will be able to buy, sell and exchange it as they would normally with any other NFT. The real functionality comes from staking, which creates a direct copy of the NFT on the blockchain. Through this cross-network oracle, users will be able to interact with their character by equipping various NFT items they acquire, as well as periodically accumulating skill points.

The developers have created an interoperable standard for web3 game character statistics that will persist beyond all of these worlds. The team believes this will allow virtual worlds of all sizes to take advantage of character statistics, quickly create and evolve player experiences, and participate in these worlds with a large and existing user base.
Each Protonaut NFT will start with 4 main character stats fields:

These 4 base stats will increase periodically during NFT betting, which will significantly level up your NFT. This periodic leveling process is affected by modifiers, gained through the item's attributes.
