RTrees — a game on the Ethereum blockchain where you can plant trees for free. The project allows you to make a donation, using Ethereum smart contracts and Decentralized Funding (DeFi).

Information about the Ethereum project rTress
The platform works by activating empty money - the DAI of a stablecoin, pegged to the US dollar, to generate interest from liquid lending pools (currently around 5.9%) and then donate the accrued interest to Trees for the Future, which they use to plant real trees.
Users are in constant control of their DAI and can stop donating at any time. This is a completely new way of support, where you participate without seeing a decrease in your account balance.
This became possible thanks to:
- protocols, built on Ethereum;
- pools of liquid lending;
- rDai protocol, which puts "r" in rTrees.
RDai allows users not only to earn interest on their DAIs, but also to redirect those interest to different Ethereum addresses, such as the one that supports donations to rTrees. DAI holders, using rTrees, will see no decline in their financial position, while Trees for the Future will receive real financial contributions to help them to fulfill their mission.
What can be done on the blockchain platform?
Once you've created your grove, tell the world how you plant real trees for free with the magic of donation. Click the Share Your Grove button for everyone to see. To end the donation, click Stop Landing and submit the transaction from the MetaMask popup. Alternatively, you can pass your actively transmitting DAI to someone else, which will keep the trees growing until the receiver decides to stop.
Features of using dapp
There is a platform fee of 2% of the interest, donated to support the development of rTrees. Once these transactions are confirmed (in most cases it will take between 30 and 60 seconds), you have made a donation successfully.
Participation rules:
| Step 1 | You will need a MetaMask wallet with a small amount of ETH and DAI in order to use rTrees. |
| Step 2 | Select the DAI level you want to activate by pressing one of the buttons. |
| Step 3 | The user interface guides you through the execution of the required transactions in the chain. You will need to sign two transactions and pay for gas to unlock and activate your DAI and start transferring interest to rTrees. |
You can visit your grove page to see how many trees you have already grown with interest and check your annual growth rate. You can also buy bonuses in your grove and increase the growth rate of your tree by activating an additional DAI.
Additional information
The site lacks White Paper and RoadMap, however, there is a section "How it works", where new users can study the features of the project. At the moment, only Twitter is available from social networks, where there are already more than 600 readers. You can subscribe to it to stay up to date with all news. There is also a blog on the Medium platform, which provides an overview of the project. The smart contract has not been audited.
