What is WatchSkins?

WatchSkins wants to transform digital wearables into new ways of expressing yourself - and allowing you to own a piece of unique digital property. The company, founded by brothers Colin and Justin Knock, together with creative director Seth Cheshire, has created a platform for creating, buying and selling watch faces, based on non-volatile tokens (NFT).

About the WatchSkins project

The WatchSkins product is currently in its early stages, but the team showed a version, including an auction app that allows you to bid and buy popular watch faces. The key to the product is the idea of no fungibility or digital scarcity.

The team has created a wide collection of face designs and also works with brands and artists to create other logos, sports players, cartoons and street art.WatchSkins

The platform works, but is currently in beta. Each watch face is unique and no other user can have the same. Since they are collectibles, Knock expects dials to fluctuate in price, based on demand.

Terms of use of the project:

1 Visit www.watchskins.com and create a profile. This will create your unique Watch Skins wallet in the ecosystem. No mobile device or smartwatch is required to purchase NFT Watch Skins. You can also download the Watch Skins app and create a profile this way.
2 You will need to fund your Watch Skins account from an external Ethereum wallet. Deposit enough ETH into your Watch Skins wallet to cover your shopping and gas charges.
3 Log into your profile and go to the configurator. Set up your watch, buy it and confirm the transaction. This may take some time, depending on network activity, but you will receive confirmation that the transaction was successful.

You don't need a smartwatch to participate in Watch Skins, but you will need to link the app to the watch if you want to display it on your watch. Just browse your collection and click submit for viewing.You have the world's first wearable NFT on your wrist now.
