What is ProtoFi Protocol?

ProtoFi Protocol - the first community-driven protocol, owned by AMM users, on the Fantom Opera network that focuses on long-term sustainability and value creation for shareholders by giving investors the ability to own a piece of the protocol itself.

Features of the ProtoFi Protocol

In its current iteration, ProtoFi is an innovative automated market maker and Yield Farming protocol that allows investors to become owners and receive dividends by owning a stake in the protocol itself. It can be thought of as a bank that offers savings accounts that increase your deposit constantly through interest payments and also allow you to earn additional profits by taking a share of all income, generated by the ProtoFi protocol. This is achieved through a dual system of tokens, PROTON tokens and ELECTRON tokens.

Other features:

1 ProtoFi is completely open source and built by an experienced team of DeFi veterans.
2 It includes a set of security features and mechanisms, designed to protect and maximize user investment.
3 All code has been written by professional software engineers and verified by the leading smart contract security firm Certik, which provides the most comprehensive and advanced audit services in the industry.

The protocol has two native tokens, ELCT and PROTO, each serving a different purpose. The PROTO token can be freely bought, sold and staked - owning (and staking) this token is the only way to get an ELCT token. The ELCT token represents a stake in the protocol itself. It allows its holders to receive perpetual dividends as long as it is held. Dividends, distributed to holders, are taken directly from the profits of the protocol, generated from swap fees, deposit fees and all other income-generating activities that the protocol will conduct in the future.

Platform tokens PROTON and ELECTRON

PROTON — a native ProtoFi protocol token that can be freely bought or sold. PROTON allows investors to participate in the protocol by staking in pools, generating a continuous percentage that is constantly paid out in each block.

Moreover, the PROTON token - the only way to get the ELECTRON token, which is the equivalent of a stake in the ProtoFi protocol.ProtoFi Protocol

ELECTRON is an analogue of PROTON and the basis of a unique protocol. It represents a share in ProtoFi that allows its holders to receive dividends, which are paid every time Fission (MoneyPot|s) is active. The token will also serve as ProtoFi’s governance token, giving investors full control over the future of the protocol and its assets.
