Actifit has introduced the concept of “proof of activity” for blockchain rewards. This will require users to provide proof of performing movements throughout the day and receive corresponding rewards.

Proof of activity on Actifit is based on automatically capturing said activity, both on Android and iOS devices. The app records the number of user activities during the day (any movement-related activity, focusing on steps), based on sensor data, and allows the user to send this data to their Actifit account via a daily report.
To properly encourage active lifestyles, the developers used standard medical solutions and wearables for daily activity/step goals, at 10,000, with bounty eligibility at 5,000.

All you need to participate is your mobile phone, the Actifit fitness app and an Actifit/HIVE account. Once the minimum number of steps is 5000 or more, use your username and private publish key, complete the required fields and publish your report. Actifit has daily reward cycles, which means it can take up to 48 hours before your report is rewarded with upvotes and AFIT tokens.
Earning through the application
Currently, only Fitbit wearables are supported for Android devices. There are many more options, available for iOS phones, including the Fitbit and Apple Watch. As long as your smartwatch can sync with the Apple Health app, you'll be able to use your device. Actifit records your activity on a daily basis.
You can buy AFIT tokens on Hive Engine, Steem Engine or BSC which count towards reaching 5000 AFIT to earn AFIT rewards. Accumulating AFIT will increase your ranking and this will allow you to earn more rewards for reporting your activity. In addition, you can use your AFIT to purchase virtual gadgets and real products from the Actifit marketplace.
