0xPandemic — an NFT based blockchain game, deployed on Polygon. Synthesize $AMINO in your labs, develop and collect the right viruses, distribute and control key strongholds on the map to earn resources and defeat your opponents. As in our world, natural resources are limited, so competition is fierce.

About the 0xPandemic project
0xPandemic — an online game, based on the ERC-721 and ERC-20 token standards to represent game state.
Several tokens are used to represent the state of the game:
| $AMINO | ERC20 standard token, which is the main game currency. It can be used both to create new viruses and to improve (or worsen) existing ones. |
| Laboratories | an ERC721 NFT token that can help to generate $AMINO without participating in PvP. There are few of them, initially they are available only at the pre-sale stage. |
| Viruses | ERC721 NFT token, which is the main component of PvP. They are synthesized randomly by spending $AMINO and may have different stats. |
| Citadels | NFT ERC721 tokens, which represent the right to use the infected stronghold and receive a reward of $AMINO. The player can infect the area and exchange/rent this NFT for the right to exploit. |
After creating a virus, it can be developed several times (maximum 10 times). The result of evolution can be different, and each trait can improve, worsen, remain the same or develop perfectly. This introduces a risk factor where the player must choose whether an existing good virus will be upgraded or not. Or if an existing, not very good, virus deserves to spend $AMINO to improve it. Sometimes, when creating a potentially perfect virus, it may be wise to sell it instead of risking its development and getting a worse result.
This leads to different strategies or ways to manage risk, depending on the player's goals, playstyle, player resources, etc. Each time a virus evolves, $AMINOs are burned, and each successive evolution of a particular virus requires more $AMINOs, so it should be used with caution.
More about defi app
There are many settlements in the world that can help to experiment with infectious viruses and earn more $AMINO. Areas range from small villages to huge metropolitan areas with different sets of properties that will affect how difficult it is for players to infect them and how much players get rewards for infecting them.
This way, the number of settlements will not be too big or too small, compared to the number of players, playing the game, making small villages more common and big cities less common and sought after by players.
