Description of the Covey project
Covey allows anyone to track, share and monetize their investment ideas. Today, large firms such as JPM or GS are in the middle between analysts and people who value their ideas (investors). The Cobey team hopes that anyone with a good track record will be able to get paid, no matter where they come from or who they know.
The Covey token represents a fraction of the value you add to the Covey community by offering investment ideas. The more tokens you earn, the better you perform in the monthly competition. The more tokens you hold, the better management you have.
To start earning tokens, you need to connect a MetaMask account.
There are 2 main ways to make money:
| Monthly rewards | This is the fastest way to accumulate tokens. If your Covey portfolio performs well for a month, according to the alpha algorithm, Covey distributes tokens to you. |
| Participation | Ten percent of the tokens are allocated to help to develop and promote the community. Referrals are the easiest way to earn these tokens. |
Increase your monthly rewards by locking tokens for at least 1 month. Using the metamask on the Covey home page, click "Stake Tokens" to lock the tokens for the rest of the month. Buy tokens to stake and increase your share of the rewards in the monthly competition.
Additional benefits
Tokens give you the ability to manage the Covey community. Vote on key points such as the alpha algorithm, assets to consider and blockchains to build upon. Hold Covey tokens to receive discounts on any investment product, powered by the Covey community. The more tokens you earn, the more discounts you are eligible for.
