The CryptoAstrum website allows citizens of the world to claim and buy property of celestial bodies such as minor planets/asteroids, stars and exoplanets. Applications are registered as transactions on the Polygon PoS Chain, a second-level scaling platform for the Ethereum blockchain, the largest smart contract-enabled blockchain.
About the CryptoAstrum project
By claiming the ownership of a celestial body, you publicly, but anonymously, via the blockchain, declare your ownership of the specified object. Like any other property, once declared or bought, it can be sold later. Of course, if you wish, you can also disclose your ownership of the property. Ownership of a property can be proven and demonstrated by accessing the address of the wallet, claiming or purchasing the property, using the private key.
Working rules:
1 | You will need the MateMask wallet, installed as an extension on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Brave browser), in order to use the CryptoAstrum website. |
2 | After installing the extension and logging into your account, you will need to register your MetaMask account on the site by logging into it and providing your email address and username, using the "Login" button. |
After receiving a celestial body through the CryptoAstrum smart contract, a non-fungible ERC-721 Ethereum token (NFT) is created on the Polygon PoS chain, representing your property. This NFT token is unique, just like your property, and can be sold to other citizens of the world upon receipt or purchase.
These gas fees are passed on to blockchain miners for their activities and CryptoAstrum does not take any share of these fees. However, the initial real estate claim amounts are transferred to the CryptoAstrum smart contract to enable celestial body claims. A commission of 5% of the sale price is also paid into the smart contract for subsequent sales.
Features of using defi app
To claim or purchase ownership, you simply need to go to the Take Ownership => Claim page. Once on this page, select the type of celestial body you want to own and click the Request/Purchase button, associated with the relevant object. You can navigate through the properties, using the navigation buttons at the bottom of each page. The buy button will display a "Claim" sign if no one has bought the property yet, and "Buy" if the property has already been bought and is resold now. The item for sale button will be disabled if the user, logged into the MetaMask account, is already the owner of the item.
