In Decentribes, every part of the world and every game item belongs to the players. The game uses blockchain technology, which gives players the ability to request and collect digital assets and store them in a secure wallet. All items and lands can initially be sold in OpenSea. Before visiting the land, players create an avatar from a set of default clothes and hairstyles.
How does Decentribes work?
Avatars live and breathe in the digital world of Decentribes, tied to a wallet and controlled by the owner in real time. Once a day, a random set of resources will appear on each land. As a landowner, you will be able to visit your lands and harvest crops in exchange for materials of varying rarity.
Land contains 4 types of resources:

Combine materials to create building blocks, clothing, furniture and supplies. Save items in your wallet and use them to build a house, decorate the land or customize your avatar with unique equipment and outfits. Visit friends and strangers across the planet to chat and show off your collectibles.
The game combines the power of WebSockets, WebGL and web ownership of NFTs to create an interconnected 3D digital world in the browser where players truly own their item.
Founders Land — the first available land type, and a way for early adopters to help to fund development in exchange for exclusive items, a token, and a permanent 5% increase in land resources. A maximum of 1000 Founders Land will ever be available, which is written in the contract.
In order to create the most fair conditions for the players, the developers did not conduct any private sales, nor any pre-sales to any investor. 2 parts of Founders Land have been reserved strictly for game development purposes and 3 parts for future promotional gifts. The rest is available to everyone.

Decentribes is being deployed on Polygon to provide high transaction speeds and low gas fees while still allowing users to seamlessly trade on OpenSea, a very popular NFT marketplace.
In the future, Decentribes will have its own in-game market, but until then, every land and item, that has been minted, can be traded in OpenSea for Polygon ETH, which can be connected to the ethereum network and vice versa directly in OpenSea.
