Ethlas — Steam's blockchain gaming platform, hosting a library of both proprietary and third-party crypto games. Players compete in various skill-based games to earn $GEM (in-game currency) by placing on the leaderboard and participating in tournaments.

About the Ethlas project
The platform aims to become a truly interoperable metaverse, using blockchain technology to usher in the era of mass consumer gaming that generates profit for players. By turning gaming from a hobby into a legitimate source of income, the developers believe that Ethlas (and other Game-Fis) have the potential to spark a new wave of the cryptocurrency-based economy.
Balanced incentive structure for multiple stakeholders:
| 1. | F2P players are interested in earning cryptocurrency while having fun, playing Ethlas games, turning games into profits and not just a waste of time for a hobby. |
| 2. | P2E players can create revenue streams by lending their NFTs to experienced players to farm $GEMS on their behalf. The profit is divided between players who invest money (managers) and players who invest their skills and efforts. |
| 3. | Game studios maintain a symbiotic relationship with Ethlas. The studios are focusing on creating quality games while Ethlas maintains the sustainability of the rewards platform and active player base. |
| 4. | Internet 2.0 and 3.0 corporations can be connected to the ecosystem to reach the next billion cryptocurrency users through sponsored prize pools and partnerships. |
There are countless GameFi projects out there, but they mostly focus on economics. However, Ethlas positions itself as a “Play-first” game, where it is more about fun games with a cryptocurrency mechanism. Current games are mostly developed in-house, but Ethlas will work with well-known game studios where they can host their games on the platform. As owners of Komos, $GEM and $ELS, you will become part of the Ethlas ecosystem to earn various forms of income and special access to exclusive games.
