Lens Protocol — a composable and decentralized social project, ready to use, so you can focus on creating great experiences rather than scaling your users.

About the Lens Protocol project
It is a Web3 social graph on the Polygon Proof-of-Stake blockchain. It has appeared to give creators the ability to own the links between themselves and their community, forming a fully composable project, owned by users. The protocol is built from the ground up with modularity in mind, allowing new features and fixes to be added while ensuring consistent user content and social relationships.
Other features:
| 1 | You have everything under control. |
| 2 | You own your profile, where you use it, how you use it and even how you monetize it. |
| 3 | This means you have power over your content and it's all right there, like NFTs, in your wallet. |
Since users own their data, they can transfer it to any application, built on top of the Lens protocol.
In addition, every application that uses this protocol benefits the entire ecosystem by turning a zero-sum game into a collaborative game. Developers can create meaningful social interactions without resorting to feedback mechanisms to capture the user's attention.
More about defi app
The Lens protocol has three levels of tokenization through the ERC721 NFT. All three are ERC721 compatible and fully composable. The updatable LensHub contract - the main entry point for most interactions in the Lens Protocol. Almost all interactions start and double as an ERC721 NFT contract for profile NFTs that are minted when a profile is created.
Note that NFT tracking and collection are only deployed on the first tracking/collection, respectively. This reduces the cost of gas to create a profile. Modularity is at the heart of the Lens protocol. Everything is built with community growth in mind and the constant development of new, innovative features.
