OtterClam — the first decentralized fallback Memcoin protocol on the Polygon Network, based on the CLAM token. Each CLAM token is backed by a basket of assets (e.g. MAI/QUICK/MATIC) in the Otter treasury, giving it an intrinsic value below which it cannot fall. OtterClam also brings economic and game-theoretic dynamics to the market through staking and binding.

About the OtterClam
There are two main ways to earn money - betting and binding:
| 1. | Stakers transfer their CLAM tokens in exchange for additional CLAM tokens. |
| 2. | Obligators provide LP or MAI tokens in exchange for discounted CLAM tokens after a fixed vesting period. |
The main benefit for stakers comes from increased supply. Profit for stakers will come from their auto-adding balances, although price risk remains an important factor. That is, if the increase in the balance of tokens outpaces the potential drop in price (due to inflation), the stakers will profit.
Since the protocol controls the funds in its treasury, CLAM can only be minted or burned by the protocol. It also ensures that the protocol can always support 1 CLAM with 1 MAI. You can easily determine the risk of your investment because you can be sure that the protocol will endlessly buy CLAM below 1 MAI with treasury assets until there is no one left to sell them.
