Tokenart — an open source, decentralized project, created from university research, that allows creators to issue secure and legal NFTs. It allows all users to participate in the NFT market in a decentralized manner.
Tokenart also provides a standard to allow NFT creators to inform their communities of the rights they wish to assign to their creations. Tokenart is inspired by the work on Creative Commons, initiated by Lawrence Lessig, to better manage the transfer of rights on the Internet through NFT.
The developers want to create a collaborative and global community that allows any creator to facilitate the transfer of their rights to WEB3 thanks to the NFT. You will be able to enter the NFT world and take advantage of the benefits, offered by the blockchain in a healthy and safe way. Initially, the project focuses on creating NFTs and the ability for creators to create legal, compliant NFTs and be able to sell them on any ERC721/ERC1155 compliant platform.
The mere fact of tokenizing a creation with a standard offers the creator legal proof of the paternity of their work that can be challenged in court. The standard allows the creator to choose which intellectual property right they want to offer through their NFT.
The goal of Tokenart — to create a worldwide platform where creators of works can transfer their rights online, thanks to NFTs.
