The most important item in the Empire Score is that the more cards you have, the more you earn. Each time a new card is purchased, a land tax is applied. As a result, it’s equally divided among all current players in the game. The game allows any player to buy an existing card at any time, but for double the last purchase price. When it happens, the previous owner loses control of the card. Token distribution works as follows:
- previous owner receives 80% of the new value;
- 20% goes into land tax and the games marketing fund.
