Train of the Century — an NFT browser-based collectible card game. Players take on the role of a railroad worker, a train operator of sorts, tasked with overseeing transport and shipping in the Centuryverse. As you play, you will have the opportunity to collect the best playing cards, improve your settings and rise through the ranks.
How does Train of the Century work?
Train of the Century — isn't just a train driving sim, as strange things are happening in the Centuryverse. Railroaders will meet a rich cast of characters who will draw them into a compelling tale of conspiracies, empires and the fate of the multiverse.
Each Train of the Century (ToC) playing card has its own NFT. As your card collection grows, use the tools to turn your cards into rarer and more powerful cards that can bring you more benefits.
There are different types of maps in ToC that you can use to build your own train. You will be able to combine locomotives, freight wagons, passenger wagons and more. As a railway worker, you will be able to load cargo or passengers, plan routes, set train schedules and earn in-game currency - TOCIUM.
You can use the Tocium you earn in the game to purchase interchangeable items, found on the market. You can always convert your Tocium to other native WAX tokens on Alcor Exchange.
To start playing the crypto game, you will need:
1. | 1 locomotive card. |
2. | 1 conductor card with the transmission level, corresponding to your locomotive card. |
3. | 1 train car card. |
4. | 1 commodity card with the type attribute, corresponding to your railcar card. |
Railcars will follow the same rarity principle as locomotives and conductors, from regular cards to mythic cards - with a few minor differences. Each railcar type has a base rarity and a maximum rarity, with the capacity for that railcar type, increasing with each increase in rarity.
More about the process
The capacity of a rail car determines how much cargo it can carry. Each item you load onto a rail car takes up a certain amount of space. You will notice an "S" icon in the lower left corner of this map. This is the size of the wagon. A larger rail car means more capacity.
Each railcar can contain up to 2 different types of goods. This means you can get creative with how you load your cars to maximize the reward you get at the end of the run.
