Launch of TON Space wallet from Telegram and TON

Web TON ecosystem, created in collaboration between TON Foundation and Telegram, presents a new TON Space wallet. Once the beta testing is complete, users will be able to manage digital assets in Telegram through this wallet.

Pavel Durov noted that TON is designed for large-scale use among millions of social network users. Since 2020, the community has been supporting and developing TON technology. In 2022, Fragment, an auction platform based on TON, started buying and selling Telegram usernames. TON's integration into Telegram now includes a TON Wallet mini-application available in the settings and attachments menu for users outside the U.S. and some other countries.

TON has been announced as the core Web3 infrastructure for Telegram. Projects based on TON will be able to utilize the platform's messaging capabilities. Starting in November, users will be able to access their wallet through the settings menu.Blockchain creators and TON partners will be able to place ads on the Telegram Ads platform, which will reach 37,000 crypto communities and 800 million Telegram users. TON Foundation plans to attract 30% of active Telegram users (500 million) to Web3 in 8 years, with the current number of 15 million Web3 users. Further expansion of TON token capabilities is expected.
