The volume of active private tokenized loans on the blockchain has reached $581 million. Since the beginning of this year, this figure has increased by approximately 128%.

According to information from the tracker, the total volume of loans issued in 1804 amounted to about $4.5 billion. This segment has demonstrated a stable recovery after declining from its peak in June 2022, when the amount of active RWA loans was $1.5 billion.

In terms of protocols, the most popular was Centrifuge with a 43% market share and assets of $255 million. It is followed by Maple and Goldfinch with amounts of $141 million and $103 million, respectively.

Most of the top three work on the Ethereum network, as do most of the largest credit RWA platforms. The only exceptions are Credix, which runs on Solana, and Clearpool, which uses Polygon.

The average current interest rate in this segment is 9.36%. For comparison, according to data from NerdWallet, banks in the United States offer loans to small businesses with interest rates ranging from 5.75% to 11.91%.

However, it is worth noting that only one outstanding loan in the amount of $20 million is related to the United States. Most of the debtors are located in Nigeria, where 14 agreements for servicing current RWA loans amount to $60.6 million.

According to tracker statistics, the largest amounts of current debt are associated with the sectors of car loans ($186.8 million) and consumer loans ($197.7 million).

In this segment, the main cryptocurrencies used for settlements are stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and DAI.

Do not forget that Coinbase researchers predict a rapid growth in the tokenization of real assets in about one to two years.
