Yield Protocol, a significant player in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, has made a solemn announcement regarding its future. After extensive discussions with various stakeholders, the Yield Protocol team has decided to cease its operations.

As a result of this decision, the much-anticipated March 2024 fixed-rate series launch has been abandoned. Currently, borrowing and lending activities are limited to the December 2023 series, and liquidity providers participating in the March-September (MS) strategies will no longer earn fees.

On December 29th, 2023, the remaining series will reach maturity, officially concluding all borrowing and lending activities associated with the Yield Protocol. However, it's not a complete shutdown just yet.
