Three upcoming blockchain games, GensoKishi Online, Cursed Stone, and Sailwars, will launch on the Immutable zkEVM network, a gaming-focused blockchain built using Polygon's zkEVM technology and Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility. This network allows for more cost-effective handling of higher transaction volumes compared to Ethereum's mainnet. GensoKishi Online, developed by Metap, is a metaverse-native revival of the popular Elemental Knights Online game with over 8 million downloads since its 2008 release.

Initially, GensoKishi Online had plans to launch on the Polygon sidechain network. Recently, the game hosted a collaborative event with Symbiogenesis, a Polygon-based game from the prominent publisher Square Enix, involving users in a scavenger hunt on Discord with the chance to earn free NFTs.

Cursed Stone, on the other hand, is a 3D open-world massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) where players can own and trade dynamic NFT assets. An "innovative role system" ensures the uniqueness of each NFT within the game, as per Immutable.

Lastly, Sailwars is a Web3 game inspired by naval battles and fantasy epics such as "The Lord of the Rings" and "A Song of Ice and Fire." Players have the ability to convert their in-game items into NFTs for trading on the open market, and they can also earn tokens by participating in various game modes.

Andrew Sorokovsky, Vice President of Global Business Development at Immutable, expressed his admiration for the growing number of studios adopting Immutable to enhance their games.

Among the games in development on Immutable zkEVM are Immutable's Shardbound, MetalCore, and Space Nation, a science fiction game with the support of filmmaker Roland Emmerich, known for "Independence Day." Immutable introduced the zkEVM testnet in August, laying the groundwork for the forthcoming full mainnet launch.
