Abu Dhabi Government to Showcase AI Innovations at GITEX 2025

Abu Dhabi is set to make a significant impact at GITEX 2025, with the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) spearheading the emirate's participation. Scheduled for October 13-17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this year's theme, 'AI Native by Design, Community Driven by Purpose', highlights Abu Dhabi's ambition to become the world's first AI-native government. According to the assessment of specialists presented in the publication, this initiative is expected to set a benchmark for other regions aiming to integrate AI into their governance frameworks.

Abu Dhabi Government's Participation in GITEX

This marks the 14th consecutive year that the Abu Dhabi Government will participate in GITEX, showcasing its commitment to innovation and technology. DGE will coordinate contributions from over 30 government and academic institutions, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience for attendees.

Showcasing AI Projects

The Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion will present 55 projects that illustrate the tangible benefits of AI in everyday life. Notable highlights include:

  • the latest version of the TAMM super app
  • the AI Supervisor developed by Abu Dhabi Police
  • the Smart Hotel Check-In initiative by the Department of Culture and Tourism

Focus on Tailoring Public Services

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab stressed the importance of tailoring public services to meet the needs of citizens, aiming for a government that is more intuitive and responsive. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to engage with various VR personas, providing insights into how these technological advancements impact different community members.

The overall goal of the showcase is to empower communities and enhance public services through innovative AI solutions.
