The Aether Games studio has announced that they have obtained exclusive rights to create the official online game in the collectible card game (TCG) genre based on "The Wheel of Time" book series. This project is called "Cards of Eternity: Wheel of Time" and aims to immerse players into the magical world of Robert Jordan's bestseller, which has also been adapted into a popular series on Prime Video.

"Cards of Eternity" is not just a card game. It offers both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes, stunning graphics, and animations that capture the imagination. The game stands out with the ability to deeply immerse players into Jordan's fantasy world. Players can buy, create, sell, and even rent cards. The development team claims that the game combines exciting battles, impressive graphics, and advanced artificial intelligence, offering a rich narrative experience. Thanks to the advanced Aether platform, the game promises to faithfully reflect the vast world of "The Wheel of Time."

The game draws upon Jordan's extensive mythology, allowing players to align with the heroes of the story or darker factions such as the Forsaken and the Shadow. With over 200 beautifully illustrated cards at launch, players will have plenty of opportunities for exploration.

"Cards of Eternity" also features an AI assistant powered by the One Power technology from iwot Productions and D1srupt1ve. This feature, available through a subscription to the One Power, adds more depth to interactions with NPCs.

Designed to be accessible to all, the game includes tutorials, training modes, and skill-based matchmaking to ensure competitions are fair yet engaging. Aether plans to continue expanding the game by adding new modes and content.

Initially, "Cards of Eternity: Wheel of Time" will launch on Windows PC, with plans for later releases on consoles and mobile devices. Fans can sign up to participate in closed beta testing to be among the first to experience this TCG.
