Age of Dino, a Web3 4X strategy game developed by Xterio, which received $15 million in funding from Binance Labs last year, is preparing for a free-to-play beta test in April. Participants are promised a chance to win significant rewards.
Throughout the month, the developers have been posting a series of announcements on the game's official X (Twitter) account, revealing details about the upcoming test. Following the announcement of the testing session on March 11th, a tweet on March 13th mentioned the possibility of winning "massive" rewards. On March 18th, it was announced that the test phase would include 4 types of games and 10 gameplay modes, including 5 PvE modes, 3 competitive guild versus guild modes, one mini-game, and one mining mode.
On March 20th, the developers announced that the testing would last a month and be open to all, offering the opportunity to collect Dino Points, known as DIO. Collecting these points will give a chance to win a share of the Xterio Ecosystem's airdrop, with Dinosty holders receiving a "supreme reward boost."
Although the beta will be free-to-play, to earn "massive" rewards, players will need to either own Dino, participate in future marketing events, or "become good friends with Dino Holders." Specific details about the rewards were not disclosed at the time of writing, although one post mentioned rewards in $DAM tokens and in-game loot.
