The Aurory game on the Solana platform, a role-playing game featuring monster battles, is now available in the Epic Games Store. Previously, access to the game Seekers of Tokane was limited to NFT owners and special code recipients. Seekers of Tokane is part of the larger Aurory gaming experience, offering players the chance to battle creatures in a Pokémon-style, known as Nefties, and explore a fantasy world. The game features roguelike elements where players must capture loot and attempt to escape with their winnings, risking losing everything upon defeat.

Public access to the game is available for a limited time from February 12 to 26, accompanied by the in-game event "Awakening of Drakurva," which offers cryptocurrency rewards, including AURY tokens and rare NFTs. Aurory plans to distribute $50,000 worth of AURY tokens, with $35,000 allocated to Aurorian NFT owners and the remainder for other participants.

Aurory was first launched in the Epic Games Store in November last year alongside the debut of Seekers of Tokane. The Epic Games Store, a platform from the developer of Fortnite and Unreal Engine, Epic Games, is a major computer game market with about 230 million users by the end of 2022 and has become a home for a growing number of crypto and NFT games. Unlike Steam, which has taken an anti-crypto stance, the Epic Games Store attracts crypto game developers.

The Aurory project spans multiple games and networks, starting with Solana and expanding to Ethereum and the scaling network Arbitrum last year to attract more players. However, the bridge to Arbitrum was exploited, leading to a loss of $830,000 in AURY in December.
