Bybit, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volumes, is expanding its presence in Europe by launching a new trading platform in the Netherlands. This decision followed regulatory pressure faced by the exchange in Hong Kong. The new platform, Bybit.nl, will provide Dutch users with the opportunity to trade cryptocurrencies and access educational resources. The launch was made possible through collaboration with Satos, one of the oldest bitcoin providers in the Netherlands, enabling users to deposit and withdraw fiat funds as well as trade over 300 cryptocurrency pairs.
Co-founder and CEO of Bybit, Ben Zhou, expressed hope to provide Dutch users with a safe and uninterrupted trading experience. In response to local regulatory requirements, Bybit suspended some of its services in the Netherlands, emphasizing the commitment to comply with regulatory standards. This event reflects Bybit's efforts to expand its influence in the European market and deliver quality services to its clients.
