To support its work, Crypto.com is investing 150 million euros in France and in a department in Paris.
The message, which was published on 10/12/2022, states that, together with the launch of the department in France, additional investments will be made to recruit employees whose work will be aimed at improving and evolving the business and investing in marketing capacities in the territory.
Previously, Crypto.com received permission from the French authority to operate as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP). Earlier, the company received the same permission from the Italian regulators.
France plans to establish itself as the center of blockchain technology, so other crypto exchanges, such as Luno and Binance, received permissions together with Crypto.com.
Binance also announced a financial investment in the state in the amount of 100 million euros, indicating this "the prospect of becoming the first in this area in Europe".
The Crypto.com exchange has a decentralized service of token exchange.
