The DOGAMÍ Academy presents a $450,000 World Championship. This play-to-mint event offers you the chance to compete for 4,000 new NFT Dogamí Gamma and a portion of the main prize of $50,000.

The DOGAMÍ World Championship attracts attention with a huge prize pool of $450,000! This play-to-mint event marks the launch of the free version of the DOGAMÍ Academy, a mobile dog racing game on Web3 platforms, now available on Android and iOS.

"We are excited to announce the launch of DOGAMÍ Academy! A game demonstrating that we can merge Web2 and Web3 technologies, aiming to redefine how we play."said Christopher D. Penséres, Co-founder and CBO at DOGAMÍ.

Participants in the championship will compete for the opportunity to win one of 4,000 new NFT Dogamí Gamma. This will lead to a grand final where the top players will compete for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and bonus NFTs from various partners.

The tournament unfolds in three stages:

  1. Play-to-Mint Qualifying Races (March 19-29) Over 10 days, players will compete in races with their Iron Dogamí to secure a place in the leaderboard and win one of 4,000 whitelist spots (Dogalists). 3,000 whitelist spots will be distributed as follows (the remaining 1,000 are for Dogamí owners): 2,000 top Free-to-Play players qualify and receive a whitelist spot to mint NFT Dogamí Gamma collection. 1,000 whitelist spots are distributed through partners, guilds, KOLs, and giveaways.

  2. 4,000 Dogamí Minting (April 3) On April 3, all qualified players can mint one of 4,000 NFTs from the Dogamí Gamma collection for free on Opensea (gas fees in MATIC apply). This new collection includes 5 new breeds with 4 different rarity levels. All NFT Gamma owners can participate in the next stage of the tournament - the Grand Final.

  3. DOGAMÍ World Championship Grand Final (April 9-16) From April 9 to 16, all NFT Gamma owners will compete against each other to share the $50,000 prize pool. In this round, you will compete in daily events with a 24-hour window to set your best time on the track using your NFT Gamma. The entry fee for each tournament is 100 STARS + 10 energy. Each tournament awards DWC (DOGAMÍ World Championship) points based on your placement. The Grand Final leaderboard is based on the total DWC points earned from events throughout the week.

DOGAMÍ is not just a game but an online entertainment hub with a community of over 200,000 players. Backed by giants like Ubisoft and Animoca Brands, it represents a significant step in blockchain gaming.
