DiLoCoX, as stated in the research paper, offers a solution for training large language models (LLMs) exceeding 100 billion parameters under limited network bandwidth conditions. This represents a significant advancement in the field of decentralized model training.
Advantages and Features of DiLoCoX
The solutions developed by 0G can pre-train a model based on 107 billion parameters over a 1 Gbps network. DiLoCoX achieves speeds surpassing AllReduce by 357 times in distributed training, while maintaining minimal degradation in model convergence.
