In the latest monthly update from the 1inch Network, significant progress has been made towards enhancing security and compliance in the Web3 space. A pivotal development was the introduction of the 1inch Shield API in partnership with leading security firms.

This collaborative effort with Blockaid, a prominent provider of Web3 security solutions, finalized an all-encompassing security mechanism to combat a wide array of potential threats. Notably, the Shield API swiftly identifies and flags fraudulent tokens masquerading as legitimate assets, empowering users to steer clear of risky transactions. Furthermore, the API incorporates address screening functionalities from TRM Labs and blocklisting features courtesy of Etherscan Pro.

A notable integration of the Shield API was implemented within the 1inch Wallet, enhancing its Scam Protection capabilities. Simultaneously, the 1inch Wallet extended its Portfolio feature for Android users to include support for four additional chains: Arbitrum, Gnosis, Optimism, and Base.
