On July 28, 2023, AERE Network announced the launch of its EVM-compatible blockchain network, boasting high performance and unique features.
Technical Specifications of AERE Network
AERE Network showcases performance of over 273,000 transactions per second (TPS) with sub-0.5-second finality and military-grade security. The system reduces energy consumption by 99.9% compared to proof-of-work models. The platform supports smart contract deployment with performance improvements of up to 100 times and lower fees. Its architecture includes multi-dimensional sharding, Effective Proof of Stake (ePoS) consensus, atomic cross-shard transactions, and AI-optimized protocols.
Environmental Initiatives and GRN
A key component of AERE Network is the Global Resilience Network (GRN), set for 2026, aiming to tackle environmental and social issues globally. GRN aligns with all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, targeting achievements such as restoring over 1.5 billion hectares of ecosystems, sequestering more than 1.5 gigatons of CO2, and removing 150 million tons of ocean plastic. It also aims to protect 6 billion people and secure food for 1.5 billion in hunger.
Governance and AERE Token Features
The AERE token serves as the native asset with a maximum supply of 2.8 billion tokens, including 280 million preminted and 2.52 billion for mining. A deflationary mechanism is employed with a 37.5% transaction fee burn and staking rewards. Governance is structured through proposals requiring a threshold of 100,000 AERE tokens and 7-day voting.
The launch of the AERE Network blockchain marks a significant advancement in blockchain technology, offering solutions to improve efficiency and address global crises.
