During the recent craze surrounding meme tokens, some experienced substantial increases in value, while others faced disappointments. One of these mem tokens, known as Complex (SIMPLE) in the Base network, has decided to shut down.

The developers of Complex made the tough decision to close the project, locking liquidity of SIMPLE tokens until a specified unlock date. Users are still able to sell their tokens during this time period. As a result of this closure announcement, the price of SIMPLE dropped more than 95%.

In response to the shutdown, users of SIMPLE sought help from well-known blockchain researcher ZachXBT. However, ZachXBT declined to assist, stating disinterest in meme coins.
