The company is preparing for the launch of its upcoming iPhone 17 while also developing an India-specific device named iPhone 17e. Scott Bessent, the US Treasury Secretary, stated that the administration plans to increase tariffs on Indian imports, accusing the country of profiting from reselling Russian oil. Previously, Donald Trump imposed a 50% tariff on Indian imports, threatening to increase it to 100% if India continues buying oil from Russia.
