The Arbitrum Foundation has announced the launch of a new program aimed at enhancing the security of blockchain projects on its network, allocating $10 million in ARB tokens.
Subsidizing Security Through the Arbitrum Audit Program
The initiative, named the Arbitrum Audit Program, will fund part or all of the costs for smart contract audits for qualifying projects. Over the next 12 months, a total of 30 million ARB tokens, valued at approximately $14 million, will be available.
Eligible Participants for the Audit Subsidy
The audit subsidy will be available to early-stage projects that demonstrate a good market fit, as well as established teams planning significant updates or new features. An oversight committee will manage the program, consisting of members from the Arbitrum Foundation and the Offchain Labs development team.
Building a Stronger Arbitrum Ecosystem
Arbitrum offers various Ethereum Layer 2 solutions, like Arbitrum One, enabling faster and cheaper transactions while maintaining security through the Ethereum network. The audit subsidy program reflects Arbitrum's commitment to not only speed and scalability but also to security and developer support.
The audit subsidy program from Arbitrum is aimed at enhancing security and fostering ecosystem growth, marking an important step in establishing reliable blockchain projects.
