The Hyperliquid (HYPE) token has emerged as one of the few to gain in value over the last 24 hours, attributed to Arthur Hayes's predictions of a sharp increase.
Arthur Hayes's Forecast
At the WebX 2025 conference in Tokyo, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, stated that he expects the Hyperliquid token to grow 126 times over the next three years. Hayes highlighted that the expansion of stablecoins would allow the exchange's annual fees to rise to $258 billion, while its current annual revenue is just $1.2 billion.
Achievements of Hyperliquid
In the past 24 hours, the Hyperliquid token gained nearly 4%, currently trading at $45.64, having briefly exceeded $47 earlier. The total number of open positions on the platform reached a record high of 198,397, with open interest over $15 billion and total wallet equity peaking at $31 billion.
Competition in the DEX Market
According to analytics provider Redstone, Hyperliquid has captured over 75% of the decentralized perpetual exchange market since its inception, formerly dominated by dYdX. The daily transaction volume of Hyperliquid has approached $30 billion, closely matching Binance's volumes on certain pairs.
As the decentralized exchange market continues to evolve, Hyperliquid shows significant successes and increasing interest, establishing a foundation for further growth and competition.
