Customers of Banca Sella can now trade Bitcoin using the Hype mobile banking application. This service is currently available to a select group of premium Hype users and is in its beta testing phase. The service will soon be available to all customers, marking a significant step in the bank’s digital transformation.

The new service allows users to buy and trade cryptocurrency directly on the Hype platform without needing third-party exchanges. Furthermore, Hype is developing a feature that will let users transfer some of their Bitcoin to contracts in their address book and make purchases at stores accepting cryptocurrency. However, the bank has imposed trading limits to manage its new product, despite its ease of access.
