**Binance Announces Removal of Two Spot Trading Pairs for Improved Trading**

Mar 27, 2024

The major cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has declared the removal of two spot trading pairs to uphold a high-quality trading environment and safeguard users. Specifically, the GNS/BTC and XVG/TUSD trading pairs will no longer be available on Binance Spot.

Binance is set to eliminate the GNS/BTC and XVG/TUSD spot trading pairs on March 29th at 06:00 AM (UTC). Despite this change, Gains Network (GNS) and Verge (XVG) will still be accessible on Binance Spot for trading.

The decision to remove these spot trading pairs is a result of periodic evaluations that consider factors like liquidity and trading volume. Binance aims to ensure a robust and efficient trading experience for all listed altcoins through this action.

Furthermore, Binance will discontinue the Spot Trading Bot service for the GNS/BTC and XVG/TUSD pairs simultaneously. Users utilizing this service are encouraged to update or cancel their bots to minimize potential losses associated with these removals.

It is common for cryptocurrency exchanges to remove trading pairs with low liquidity and trading volume to maintain the integrity and efficiency of their platforms. This practice helps exchanges streamline their offerings and focus on assets that align with their users' requirements and preferences.
