Binance, the world’s largest virtual asset exchange by volume and users, has named Stephanie Emile as its new General Manager for Dubai, effective August 2024.

Stephanie Emile brings extensive experience in digital and electronic trading systems. Her previous roles include key positions at BNP Paribas as Deputy Head of Electronic (eFX) Client and Digital Solutions, and at Barclays Capital, where she worked in client credit risk and FX. Since 2022, Emile has served as Head of Operations for Binance Dubai, setting new standards for women in the blockchain industry.
Role and Achievements
Under Emile's leadership, the company has asserted its dominance in regulatory compliance and regional expansion, which was crucial in securing the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. This license allows Binance to expand its offerings including margin, futures, and options trading, as well as lending, borrowing, and investment products for institutional and qualified users.

In her new role, Stephanie Emile will focus on institutional adoption, regulatory compliance, and educational initiatives such as Binance Academy.
