Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the end of support for the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network.

Deadlines for BEP2 Transactions

The most crucial date for users is the termination of BEP2 token withdrawals on November 1, 2024. After this date, Binance will not accept any withdrawal transactions via the BNB Beacon Chain. Deposits of BEP2 tokens will also conclude on November 8, 2024, with exceptions. Users are advised to transfer BNB-pegged tokens (B-tokens) to Binance accounts and utilize alternative networks.

Closure of the BNB Beacon Chain Network

The BNB Chain team will completely deactivate the BNB Beacon Chain network on November 19, 2024. Binance states that no transactions for the BNB Beacon Chain will be possible after this date. Users should complete their deposits and withdrawals before the specified deadlines, or such transactions will not be feasible.

BEP2 token holders and investors should be aware of these deadlines and take necessary actions to avoid any inconvenience in accessing their assets.
