Binance has announced support for the upcoming upgrade and hard fork on the Zilliqa (ZIL) network, which is expected at the end of September 2025.
Timeline of the Upgrade
According to the company's statement, token deposits and withdrawals on the ZIL network will be temporarily suspended starting from 20:00 CET on September 24, 2025. The network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height 10,153,271, approximately at 21:00 CEST.
Processing Procedures
Binance stated that it will handle all technical requirements during the upgrade process without requiring any user action. Furthermore, trading of tokens on the ZIL network will not be affected by the upgrade.
User Support
Once the upgrade is complete and the network is deemed stable, deposits and withdrawals will be reopened. Binance emphasized that no further announcements will be made on this matter. This step is considered part of Binance's support for network updates to protect user experience.
