Binance.US is actively supporting the upcoming Polygon (MATIC) token migration to POL, ensuring a smooth transition for its users. The exchange will automatically swap all MATIC tokens held on its platform to POL at a 1:1 ratio.
Migration of MATIC Tokens to POL
The scheduled network upgrade on the Polygon blockchain is set for September 4, 2024, after which the MATIC ticker symbol will be replaced with POL. Binance.US will automatically swap all MATIC tokens held on its platform to POL, requiring no action from users.
Support for POL and MATIC across Networks
Until POL is fully supported, any POL deposits made via the Polygon network will be credited as MATIC. Deposits and withdrawals of MATIC via the Ethereum (ERC20) network will remain operational unless otherwise communicated. After the migration, POL deposits and withdrawals will also be supported on the Ethereum (ERC20) network.
