Internet personality Ben Armstrong, known as BitBoy Crypto, has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit linked to Binance. The agreement also involves NBA superstar Jimmy Butler, who will pay $340,000 as part of the settlement.
The Lawsuit Against BitBoy and Jimmy Butler
According to a Bloomberg report, the settlement deal has yet to gain the court's approval. The lawsuit dates back to March 2023, when some aggrieved investors accused BitBoy and Jimmy Butler of promoting Binance. The complainants claim that both defendants unlawfully promoted the trading platform.

The agreement stipulates that Jimmy Butler will pay $340,000. The settlement terms for BitBoy remain unknown until final court approval.
Binance's Next Steps
Despite the lawsuit, Binance continues its operations. Earlier, the platform announced plans to remove nine altcoin trading pairs as part of an in-house clean-up.
