In the past 24 hours, bitcoin and altcoins have shown a significant rise. Bitcoin reached a multi-week peak of $99,000, while SUI set a new high exceeding $5.

Bitcoin's Rise

Since mid-December, bitcoin was below $100,000. However, recent days have seen a gradual increase. On December 31, it reached $96,000 but then fell to $93,000. With the new year, it rose to $97,000 and recently hit $99,000 before dropping back to $97,000.

Altcoin Price Increases

Many altcoins displayed growth in the last 24 hours. ETH surged above $3,500, DOGE rose by 14% reaching nearly $0.39. SUI notably increased by 17% and set a new all-time high over $5.

Overall Cryptocurrency Market

The total crypto market cap climbed by $100 billion and is now $3.640 trillion. Bitcoin's market dominance has decreased to 53.3%.

The rise in bitcoin and altcoin prices highlights the positive sentiment in the crypto market. However, investors should remain cautious and pay close attention to future developments.
