Bitcoin's price surged 2% in the last 24 hours, reaching $106,162 with a trading volume of $97.9 billion. The price peak was $107,822, followed by a slight correction. Its Energy Value reached $100,000 for the first time.

Current Trend Analysis

Since late October, Bitcoin has been in a strong uptrend, moving within an ascending channel pattern. Prices consistently test new highs and lows. Positive momentum is supported by the 50-day and 200-day SMAs. The current RSI approaches the overbought territory, indicating potential temporary resistance or a pullback.

BTC Price Prediction

Given the current price range, indicators, and ascending channel, the price could test $108,000. If selling pressure increases, prices might drop to the channel boundary at $96,000 or the 200-day SMA at $96,483.
