Recent changes in the activity of Bitcoin whales on Binance suggest market stabilization despite price fluctuations.
Changes in Whale Activity on Binance
According to analyst Arab Chain from CryptoQuant, although Bitcoin's price temporarily broke above $124,000, the whale ratio dropped to 0.47. This figure is lower than in early August and July, suggesting a more balanced market. Large Bitcoin holders appear to be adopting a more cautious approach.
Whale Ratio Fluctuations and Market Liquidity
The analyst noted that in mid-July, the ratio briefly spiked above 0.80 when Bitcoin was around $117,000. Typically, such conditions indicate whales preparing to sell. However, when the price surpassed $124,000, a similar spike did not occur. This could indicate that whales are either waiting for another opportunity or have changed their strategy. Despite approaching a critical level, the market did not experience a major correction. Market liquidity appears sufficient to maintain stability between demand and supply.
Increase in Retail Trader Activity
According to Bloomberg, Bitcoin and Ethereum recently recorded a trading volume of $40 billion in a single week, highlighting an increase in institutional capital inflow and retail trader activity. Current reports from CNF indicate that Bitcoin dominance is falling below 60%, with renewed interest in altcoins suggesting that investors are seeking new opportunities.
Thus, the activity of whales on Binance demonstrates market balance, which may positively influence Bitcoin's further growth. The increasing interest from retail traders also adds optimism for the stable development of the market.
