BitMEX has recently rolled out options trading in collaboration with PowerTrade, a crypto options platform. These options are available for trading in Bitcoin, USDT, or USDC on the well-known cryptocurrency exchange.

To attract users, BitMEX is offering zero commissions on all options transactions until the end of May. Moreover, users who deposit at least $1,000 and engage in one option trade will receive a $20 USDC sign-up bonus.

Educational materials will be provided by the exchange for those who are new to options trading or the BitMEX platform. The minimum trade sizes on BitMEX are among the lowest in the market, with examples being 0.01 for BTC and 0.1 for ETH.

Options trading on cryptocurrencies such as DOGE, SOL, XRP, and BNB will be available on the exchange. While interest in cryptocurrency options is increasing, the U.S. has been slow in offering options on crypto ETFs.

Several American stock exchanges have filed applications to launch options on spot cryptocurrency ETFs, but regulatory action is pending. This has prompted two American congressmen to urge the SEC Chairman to approve options on spot Bitcoin ETFs.

For more insights, you can read about the options market's projections regarding Bitcoin's potential to reach $100k.
