According to Lookonchain data, this purchase brings BitMine's total Ethereum holdings to 1,866,974 ETH, valued at nearly $8.15 billion. This move makes BitMine the largest corporate holder of ETH in the world, highlighting the company's rapid growth in the crypto market.

BitMine launched its ETH strategy on June 30, 2025, and has plans to buy back up to $1 billion in stock. The company believes in Ethereum as an important asset for decentralized finance and smart contract utilization.

While BitMine leads, other public companies are also increasing their ETH holdings. For instance, SharpLink added 39,008 ETH valued at approximately $176.7 million, and The Ether Machine acquired 15,000 ETH for $56.9 million.
