BNB Chain, the world's largest smart contract blockchain, has announced new upgrades to enhance its stablecoin payment infrastructure. These measures aim to create primary tools for digital financial transactions and everyday payments.
Optimizing Payment Speed
According to reports, BNB Chain aims to make stablecoin payments faster, cheaper, and more accessible by focusing on gasless transactions between centralized exchanges (CEXs), wallets, and bridges. Support platforms like crypto payment firms will aid in implementing this initiative.
Partnerships and Collaborations
BNB Chain will collaborate with centralized exchanges such as Binance CEX, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, and MEXC to ensure users can take advantage of gasless transfers. MegaFuel, a global gasless solution developed by NodeReal and funded by BNB Chain, will cover gas fees for CEX users, wallets, and decentralized applications (Dapps). Partnerships also include working with renowned wallet providers like Bitget Wallet and SafePal, with Binance Web3 Wallet and Trust Wallet joining in the future.
New Initiative: Gasless Carnival Season
To improve stablecoin infrastructure, BNB Chain will launch the 'Gasless Carnival Season' starting on September 19, 2024. As part of this initiative, participants can withdraw stablecoins from CEX to BSC and opBNB for free, and cross-chain transfers via participating bridges will also be without charge.
These steps are aimed at creating a more accessible ecosystem for stablecoin users, enhancing liquidity and interoperability across various blockchains.
