Bybit Extends Support to Earthquake Victims in Tibet

A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 has struck Tibet, resulting in 126 casualties and the destruction of over 3000 structures. Bybit steps up to aid the relief efforts.

Disaster Details

On January 16, 2025, Bybit expressed sorrow over the earthquake in Tibet, which claimed 126 lives and injured 188 people. Over 14,000 rescue workers are working in extreme winter conditions to provide assistance.

Bybit and RCSC Support

In response to the disaster, Bybit is committing RMB 5 million in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of China to support disaster relief efforts. Donations will be directed towards emergency shelter, medical supplies, and food aid.
