On September 5, 2025, Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced the establishment of a new B2B division focused on serving institutional and enterprise clients.
Goals of the New B2B Division
The B2B unit will provide comprehensive solutions across secure custody, efficient settlement, and access to tokenized products. This will form the cornerstone of Bybit's institutional strategy and accelerate the convergence of traditional finance and digital assets.
Institutional Client Needs
The institutional investor market is undergoing significant changes, as they are expressing growing interest in digital assets and demanding solutions based on traditional finance best practices. Key requests include off-exchange custody constructs and settlement models that allow holding assets with trusted custodians.
Leadership of the New Division
The new B2B division is led by Yoyee Wang, who previously served as Global Head of Treasury and Asset Management at Bybit. Wang has over a decade of international experience, including positions at the Royal Bank of Canada, and brings a unique blend of crypto expertise and traditional finance experience.
The launch of Bybit's new B2B unit highlights the growing interest of institutional clients in digital assets and the need for tailored solutions to meet their needs.
